国宝臼杵石仏

1/27（月）特別祈願法要 Special Buddhist Ceremony

下記日程にて、今年最初の特別祈願法要を執り行います。

日時：令和2年1月27日(月)、午前11時～（30分程度）
場所：国宝臼杵石仏、古園石仏群前

特別祈願法要とは、臼杵市仏教会の僧侶の皆様の読経と共に古園石仏群の前に設置された「御祈願箱」に投函された「御祈願書」を、祈願奉納するものです。

1月に入り、参道に降り注ぐ陽も明るく長くなり、改めて新春を実感させられるこの頃です。

仕事や学校、地域活動など日常が動き始めた今週、みなさまいかがお過ごしでしょうか？

このあたりで、静かに読経を聞き今年の意を今一度誓ってみませんか？
参列された方には、大般若経の経典本の風を受けていただき、安寧を御祈願致します。

これは、写真のように頭上ではたはたと振られた経典本の風受け、両肩をポンポンと叩くものです。
ぜひこの機会に体験されてみませんか？

Date: Monday, January 27, 2020, at 11:00AM (the ceremony will last around 30 min.)
Venue: Furuzono-Sekibutsu of the Usuki Stone Buddha, 804-1 Fukata, Usuki-shi, Oita.

Buddhist Ceremony will be conducted to present prayer letters stored in the prayer drop box in front of Furuzono-Sekibutsu with the sutra chanting by the monks.

Attendees will receive wind of Daihannya-kyō (Mahāprajñāpāramitā Sūtra, Large Sutra on Perfect Wisdom) to purge noxious vapors and to pray for peace.

Given the first ceremony of the year 2020, why don’t you join to listen to silence and sutra as well as make a yearly resolution?
You will also feel happy new year by walking the approach of the Usuki Stone Buddha where sunlight glows to greet you.
